Raiyan Azmi is a final year Law and Commerce student majoring in Accounting at the Victoria University of Wellington.Raiyan works as a Law Clerk in the Property and Commercial team at Rainey Collins Lawyers, providing client-facing, drafting, and research support for clients on in litigation, directors’ duties, debt collection, estate disputes, and general company and commercial law matters.Raiyan has previously worked at Parliament, drafting Regional, Economic Development, and Racing policy. Raiyan enjoys commercial, property and taxation law. He has a new-found interest in public and private M&A transactions.Raiyan is deeply passionate about community development and giving back. He has held a variety of roles within government and community advisory boards representing Muslim youth.
